Adrienne Vittadini was born in 1945 in Budapest. Her family fled Budapest when she was 12 due to the Hungarian Revolution. Adrienne enrolled at the Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia. Her love of fashion and design was launched at this time and Vittadini introduced her own brand. She started out designing ladies clothing, handbags, swimsuits, shoes and perfumes. Her use of vibrant colors and “Euro-American” design style were unique and worn by Candice Bergen, Kim Bassinger and Joan Lunden.
Adrienne Vittadini launched her first fragrance in 1994. AV perfume for women was a refreshing perfume which contains a blend of bergamont and lemon. In 1999, Adrienne Vittadini perfume was launched. This fragrance contains a blend of lemon and mandarin. Following this perfume Adrienne launched Capri in 2003. This fragrance contains a blend of flowers, musk and a hint of moss.
Adrienne sold her company in 2001 to Retail Brand Alliance. Although she may not be designing fashion and perfume Adrienne is still an active part of her label.
